Quickfire Games is a small independent game development studio based in Manila, Philippines. Founded by Sharan Balani and Harry Cabamalan, Quickfire strives to create great games filled with character, humor, and just maybe a hint of danger. We're small, bushy-tailed, and probably crazy, but more importantly we're ambitious, passionate, and utterly in love with what we do. Our current projects are “Hayaku! Ninja,” a mobile title featuring a ninja who just wants some normal mochi; and “Wild Season,” a multi-platform farming simulation game featuring a very strange town and the poor sap who decided to move there.
Quickfire Games was established in August 2013, upon the departure from a previous venture. The founders Harry and Sharan had previously worked together at a digital marketing agency, conceptualizing, designing, and developing a variety of digital campaigns ranging from games, mobile apps, websites and the like. However their creative desires to make games, remained unfullfilled which is what encouraged them to put together their studio. As an initial experiment in working together they developed Hayaku Ninja, a small free to play game. After that
Fortunately most of the team, that composed the founding members of Quickfire Games all had previous game development background (Harry included) and have been working together for several years in previous companies. This camraderie combined with the creative fuelings of the studios new members led to the creation of Wild Season, our first major project.
